You're receiving this email because about a year ago, I reached out to different groups and forums online asking if anyone would be interested in a community for women centered around personal & professional development topics.

A lot has happened during the last year and I've evolved this idea to become a more intentional, bite-sized newsletter sent to your inbox that explores personal development topics, such as mental health wellness, self-care, & more. All of the things you signed up for are still going to happen (e.g. interviews, insights, community & more!) - but we're starting first in a newsletter form, and the thesis is a bit different!

🚀 Inspiration for this newsletter

Hey there 👋🏼

The newsletter and content will officially start next week but just wanted to share with you my intentions with this passion project of mine.

My (potentially) hot 🔥 take is that I believe you can have it all, achieve your goals, have good health, relationships, and more -- all without burning yourself out.

It was further validated by this Elle article I read today that I'm not alone in thinking this and I believe we genuinely need to emphasize this message in today's media.

For my entire life, I've always had a strong drive to develop myself and grow both personally and professionally. Whether it was staying all day in the self-help section at Barnes & Noble, chatting with my friends about our career and financial goals in life, trying out every new app or wellness trend, or listening to podcasts on the daily, I've always been an ambitious person.

However, as I reflected on my time as a working adult with ambitious goals, I realized that I actually had sacrificed quite a bit in order to be "successful." And the more important question I started asking myself: Was I truly happy? 🤔 The downsides of my 'girlboss' era was that I slept late and never got enough sleep, my personal identity was overly tied to my work and the value I produced for my employer, I barely exercised, didn't really have any sense of a consistent routine in my life, dealt with a tremendous amount of stress with family back at home, didn't drink enough water, and... the list goes on.

So, during the pandemic, I started on a journey to redefine what success (and ultimately, happiness) means to me. It hasn't been easy... at all. It has taken years, multiple attempts after being burnt out, getting IBS and destroying my gut health, and a pandemic to make me realize that I want to approach my life in a more balanced way: whether it is my career, relationships, mental or physical wellness, or more - at the core, I truly believe that we can have it all and we don't have to burn ourselves out.

And I'm most definitely still learning and growing! However, I've learned some incredibly insightful lessons and insights from thought leaders, mentors, personal experiences, and friends that I hope to share in hopes that we, as a community, can grow and learn from each other.

I'm not any less ambitious than before, but success just means something different to me now. And I know I'm not alone 🙂

This newsletter was created out of the belief that:

  2. 🔧 It's the little tweaks. You don't need to always buy the most expensive product or make the craziest changes in your life to improve your mental & physical wellness. We're here to tell you what's worth it and what isn't.

  3. 💝 It is possible to have it all - you can have fun and live an enriching life filled with success in your career, relationships, family, money, & more - and you don't have to sacrifice your mental and physical well-being in order to do it.

  4. 🧘🏻‍♀️ No judgment. No drama. No stress. Honest opinions and facts only. This is a safe space in your inbox to provide you with the honest and latest so that you're equipped to integrate this information in your life.
